While my Uncle Mike and my Dad may have started the Langdon love of Mustangs with their 1966 and 1967 Mustangs, I can lay claim to beginning to steer them (no pun intended) in the right direction with the purchase of my first car as a teenager when I bought a 1989 Dark Gray Mustang LX 5.0 Notch on February 19, 2013. I turned 15 years old August 1, 2012 and had been searching for a Notchback Fox Body Mustang for several months. After the long search, I finally found the one I wanted in Dallas, North Carolina. The Mustang has a 5- speed manual transmission. Below are pictures of the car the day I bought it.

I upgraded the wheels to a set of Cobra R rims.

I installed new headlights on July 24, 2013.

From May 23 – 26, 2014, my Dad and I installed new GT40 heads, a B303 cam, 1.6 roller rockers and new lifters on the car.
We painted the new heads:

Then we tore down the motor for the new heads:

Clean and paint the upper and lower intake.

All the new parts (heads, lifters, 1.6 roller rockers, B303 cam) were installed and then the freshly painted lower and upper intake were put back on the car on May 25-26, 2014.

A new radiator was installed August 1, 2014! Happy Birthday to me!

Then the unthinkable happened! Wreck at North Davidson High School in Lexington, NC on September 10, 2014.

Stay tuned!
